Trauma, Attachment and the Body: An Introduction to Sensorimotor Psychotherapy

presented by
Lana Epstein,
MA, LICSW

Event will be held in the Farr Conference Center at the Scottish Rite Museum and Library (National Heritage Museum)
33 Marrett Road (Rt 2A East) Lexington, MA

Do some of your clients have traumatic pasts that don’t completely resolve, no matter what you do? Do you want to know more about how the body holds traumatic events and attachment wounds?

Although we can never change what has happened to a person, we now know that we can change the way past events are held in emotional memory. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP) is a neurobiologically-informed modality that utilizes the inherent wisdom of the body and of somatic interventions to reconsolidate memory.  Participants in this afternoon program will be introduced to ways to resolve trauma and work with attachment wounds by utilizing the intelligence of the client’s body.

Cancellation Policy for events: No refund is given if cancellation request is received within 1 week of event date. Prior to 1 week of event date a full refund will be made.
