Benefits

Hundreds of area clinicians, students, researchers and others find NESTTD to be an effective community for ongoing learning. If you are attending more than one program with us, consider membership! You will receive discounts, opportunities for networking, and other benefits, and will also support our ability to bring quality programming to the area’s clinicians at affordable rates.

As a member you will be eligible to:

Attend the Half-Day Morning workshops each year for free (typically three per year but at least two).
Receive a Members’ Only rate on our All-Day workshops (typically one per year; two in years with two free morning workshops), our two Friday Afternoon Series programs, and our Intensives.
Enjoy a two-week long pre-registration advance sign-up period available only to our members
Expand professional contacts through networking, the Membership Directory, and conferences
Access a Members' Only section of our website that houses our Online Membership Directory, our Newsletters, and our “Mining the Treasures” video library
Receive periodic newsletters with important updates
Participate in our email Listserv for members. Have a place to post when starting a group, seeking a referral, or respond when a referral fits your practice. You can ask for a clinical tip, or share one. Consider introducing your practice during your birthday month.
Become involved and increase collegiality by joining any of our Committees: Membership, Program, Outreach and Publicity, or, Nominating.

Our membership year runs from July 1 to June 30.

The membership structure has enabled us to bring excellent programming to the community for 35 years, at rates that allow clinicians at all levels of development attend these quality events that benefit both us and our patients. We hope you’ll join us!

Membership Levels

Subscription period for all levels of membership is July 1st through June 30th.

1. Standard Member

Who:

Standard membershold at least a bachelor's degree and professional certification or licensure in a health or scientific discipline, and are involved in either treatment or research with individuals with trauma and dissociative disorders.
Special exceptions may be approved by a majority vote of the executive board of the steering committee.

Pricing:

EarlyBird: $150offer, valid through June 30

Regular: $175offer, valid after July 1

2. Agency Employee/Retiree

Who:

Agency Employee Memberships are offered to individuals who meet the same criteria required for standard membership who work for an agency or are in retirement. This category is offered at a reduced fee.
This membership category is not applicable to members of group practices or to those who work in both agency and private practice. The reduced fee is intended to assist those clinicians who work with low income or under-served clients, have large caseloads, and receive more limited financial compensation for their work

Pricing:

EarlyBird: $75offer, valid through June 30

Regular: $90offer, valid after July 1

3. Student/Recent Graduate Member

Who:

Student memberships are available to individuals currently enrolled in (or a graduate of less than 2 years from) a full-time program of graduate study leading to a degree and/or certification in the fields discussed under full membership.
This membership is retained on a year-to-year basis pending the conferring of a degree, and requires proof of student status annually or a photo of your diploma.

Pricing:

EarlyBird: $40 offer, valid through October 1 (we offer an extended Early Bird period to students)

Regular: $50 offer, valid after October 1

Partners of NESTTD

Partners join a community of Leadership Supporters who are invested in the success and future of NESTTD. Partners help us achieve our mission of bringing superior trauma education to clinicians throughout New England. (As we are a 501c6 non-profit, your membership fee may be potentially deductible as a business expense but not as a charitable donation, please check with your accountant). Extra giving helps us fund:

Discounts for newly-graduated clinicians
Financial Assistance for clinicians suffering financial setbacks
Costs of inviting speakers travelling great distances to share their expertise

Who:

Partners include Sponsors and Patrons. Partners meet the same criteria required for standard membership, but choose to help us support our mission through their extra giving.

Sponsors receive recognition in published material and electronic media related tooneof our quarterly meetings.Sponsors also receive one guest pass for any of the half-day quarterly meetings.

5. Patron

Patrons receive recognition in published material and electronic media related to all four quarterly meetings. Patrons also receive two guest passes for any of the half-day quarterly meetings.

A Student/Recent Grad (2 yrs or less) - $45.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Student/recent grads (2yrs or less) memberships are available to individuals currently enrolled in a full-time program of graduate study leading to a degree and/or certification in the fields discussed under full membership. This membership is retained on a year-to-year basis pending the conferring of a degree, and requires proof of student status annually. Recent grads are allowed to pay student rate for up to the first two years post graduation, copy of diploma required.

Agency / Retiree Member - $85.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Agency Employee Memberships are offered to individuals who meet the same criteria required for standard membership, but at a reduced fee. Self Identified BIPOC Clinician - Variable Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments A free membership is offered to self-identified BIPOC clinicians and graduate students in a relevant field as a measure of solidarity and invitation. This free membership, which includes free registration for all of our programs, is available for one year.

Sponsor - $275.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments All Standard Member benefits plus recognition in published and electronic media related to all quarterly meetings. You will receive 1 guest pass for any of the quarterly half day meetings.

Sustaining Member - $175.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments A sustaining member receives all the benefits associated with Standard membership, but chooses to pay the previous standard member rate in order to assist the organization in this year of transition and restoration.
